Stupid question I know but never having one before do I just leave it connected to the bike whenever I am not using it ? You cant overcharge the battery ? my one has just got a green flashing light going off all the time.

Is it a battery charger or battery tender? The latter the answer is yes, that's the whole point. The former, well, probably not.

Cheers Friarjohn, I will leave it on and see what happens, I think it just trickle feeds the battery when not being used.

Yeah, I have a Battery Tender. I'm sure it's similar if not exactly the same. The intent is to maintain the battery while the bike is sitting for long periods.
