Just fitted standard length Ikons and the improvement in ride quality is amazeing. They were very easy to fit and only took ten minutes. Took it out for a strop today as it cooled down to 35 degrees C, and at top speed of 180 kph there was none of the mid corner wobbles that it used to suffer from. Now onto the fork springs.

Did you get the lowered ones or stock. Also, would you have concidered progressives. Why or why not.

G'day Willy, them amber glasses can really make reading hard allright.
I mainly got the Ikons because they're from Aussie and I could dirrect credit thier bank with the funds (no credit card due to complete lack of self control).
The ride is a huge improvement.

I just got the 1-inch lowered Ikon shocks, the look is a great improvement on stock height I think. The ride quality has improved a heap... the damping ajustment is the key improvement I think. I was a little worried about going lower because of ground clearance when cornering and steering weight etc. but I have had no problems at all, glad I went for the 1-inch lowershocks... most definantly!

I tossed and turned between the 1" lowered and standard hieght and ended up going with the standard.
Your right about the ride quality and damping also I think with less spring coils they seem to respond to bumps quicker.
