At the risk of beating a dead horse (I will search the site as soon as I post this) is there any parts interchange between T100 footpegs/controls and the America's frame? I want to do mids without having to make TOO much stuff. Thanks for any input.

Cut it up.

Hi Mark,
Yes your pic worked. I dont have any answers for your mid controls but I like the bikini fairing. Havn't seen them since the late seventies when they used to put them on those big kawasakis. Is it an old one or did you buy it recently?

The fairing is an Emgo Viper. I ordered mine through a shop but they are available all over. Saw a whole bunch on ebay.

Sorry, to hi-jack, but I had to comment that I like that fairing too.

Pretty cool.

They are not mid-controls, but there are a few people that have bought kits that bring the controls back a few inches. I know LanceD had the Norman-Hyde ones.

Good Luck,
Brent

Might as well get out the drawing board and start engineering your own mid mount controls. I got mine posted on page 18 or 19 of the customs. I used stock pegs up front for highway pegs, move them back 2" for my short legs. Then I came off the rear stock peg mounts and mounted home made brackets for sportbike mid pegs.I also moved shifter and rear brake back.Made shifter out of dirt bike shifter form Kawasaki and Kubota tractor linkage.Master cylinder I moved back and again made brake pedal and linkage.Mounted rear passenger pegs off an old Yamaha dirt bike. More pictures are also under "good priced mufflers" in exhaust section.Have fun fabricating.
