'07, blue, 6,000 miles. Amazing machine. Leaving in about an hour for Birmingham Ala. for the annual Vintage Festival and races. Had to get another Triumph, have too many t-shirts, stickers, and a leftover can of chainwax.

Congratulations, you'll love the tiger. I put about 1500 miles on a trade in 07 tiger we had at work. Great bike.

That'll be my excuse too when the new Tiger comes out next month.

Good luck & ride safe!

It is a great bike. My 07 Tiger (Black Beauty) has about 18,000 miles on her. You'll love the torque this bike puts out. Yesterday Moe stopped by just after I checked the front and rear brake pads. With all the miles I have on my Tiger the fronts still have more than 50%, and the rear more than 30% of their pads remaining. If you keep the bike in the right rpm range you will find you don't need your brakes all that much.

Just got back from Birmingham. Vintage festival was a hoot as usual. Saw 5 other Tigers, none were blue. 700 miles or so round trip, good bit of it in the mountains. The Tiger is awesome indeed. Will take a while to get used to after riding the America exclusively for over 5 years. Has more power than I'll ever need, and as good or better fuel mileage than the America. Handles lke a dream.
The most significant difference for me- not a hint of back pain after a full day in the saddle. Got in just a little while ago and I'm walking around like a regular person (pain-free smilie here).
There are only a couple of small thing I need to do like properly aim the headlights and maybe rotate the bars forward a little. Guess I'll miss the occasional geezer asking about my bike. Had one today at a gas stop, but all we talked about were Bonnevilles...

You will still get questions like "is that really a Triumph"? For what little knowledge there is of triumphs existance there is a huge lack of knowledge of there performance bike.I love it.
