I've got an issue here...

Some chrome parts (and some not chrome) are starting to look, well... not so good.

Now, every time I ride next to the ocean, I will give the bike a good wash and water spraying to take out the salt residue... but it seems that wasn't enough.

What can I do to bring back the shine on these?

Thanks!

I had the same problem, make sure you use the correct detergend when washing the bike not one that contains salt.
Anyway I had my top yoke replaced under warrenty but the new one went same way.

In the end I stripped the laquer off the yokes and risers, polished them up.
This was not so easy to strip off, took several treatments with Nitromorse.
Once the worming starts below the laquer there is nothing you can do do stop it.
So my top yoke and risers are same as the wheels, bare alloy.
I have had no problems with the chrome.

Wow, my stuff looks like new. Those risers aren't chrome, they are painted metal, might be some type of powdercoating. It can be striped and the riser piece polished. The primary cover is definitely chrome. I'd check with Triumph and see if they wouldn't cover that under warranty.

My bike's only a year old bit the top yoke's also got that "worming".
Never thought about a warranty claim but it seems like a waste of time anyway, given the previous reply. Chrome's ok so far but it's a bit worrying to see the state of yours.
I've never actually seen chrome do that before so I suspect it's not been done properly at the factory.
I'd definately take it back to the dealer or contact Triumph.
