Ok,

So I finally got around to installing the chargeX battery tender thing. Where do you guys store that 4' cord? No airbox (freak), so there's plenty of room. I could simply coil it up and zip tie it where the toolbox sits. Might be better to store it in some kind of waterproof container. Maybe just coat the prong ends with candlewax and forget about it?

Mine battery tender only came with a little pigtail thing and the rest plugs into the wall... Is your whole charger mounted on the bike?

I have one under the seat of my Trophy. I folded the cord to about 6" lengths, then wrapped a rubber band around it. It can be stuck into almost any available area.

Darn TL,

I was hoping somebody out there had fabricated some sort of miniature titanium canister complete with a rubber gasket screw on lid and magnet to affix to the frame. In lieu of that I guess a rubber band &/or zip tie will work just fine . How do you like the Trophy you have listed?

Yes Benny this model has ~6" battery leads, connected to a little charge unit (1/2 pack cigarette size), with a power cord permanently attached. Double sided tape holds it in place.

Could you fold it enough, put it in a plastic bag, and put it in the hollow frame tube that runs sideways under the seat? If you take off the right side cover you can get right at the end of it. I think it's about 4 1/2 - 5 inches long.....
