 remove cat from stock pipes ?

Should I remove the cat from stock? I have gutted 3 of 4 baffles so far. Going to to do the fourth still just not loud enough!  But does the cat make a diffrence??  thanks

See my post Here. I have now removed the cat as well and also from the front the next baffle ( can see daylight looking through ) The cat was drilled out with a hole saw, takes a bit of time as the saw keeps blocking up, the cat is about 9cm deep. Louder and deeper sound results.

LOL...yes the catalytic converter is what i was talking about! okay thank guys ...yes didnt want to waste time removing it if it didn't make it any louder. But what the ****** I'll cut it out to anyways!

I know very little about EFI but... is it okay to take the cat out of the equation on an EFI bike?

a buddy of mine has a chevy truck and he removed the mufflers and left the converter. i must say the truck sounds very nice, he did install tail pipes after the converter but what a differenc. so i was wondering what a bike might sound like with that set up??

cut the crossover pipe and plug it.... I got lots more sound that way
