Not likely to run out Jason. Price might need slight adjustment soon, but we're holding off for as long as possible. This price is a bargain... Might I suggest some serious Romeo and Juliet romancing here... lol... John, another option to tooling would be to have the design cut and stitched in... Black on the brown would look cool, or black in the red. Red in the brown would be subtle with a touch of colour... That's just using the standard leather colours we use now.

Hey Warlock, today I had both your seat and a NewBonny seat side by side, I was rubbing in some conditioner goop on them and I gotta tell you, your seat is nicer, both looking and the grain of the leather as well, yours also fits both my bikes better, I had to wrap duct tape around the dong that goes into the tank mount on the N. Bonne seat and the leather flap in the back is at least 3/8" off center as well, thanks again

How close are you to having the pillion pads ready? Will the shipping to the US be less if both are ordered together?
This is a great looking seat, and a very reasonable price!

Hi Matt, The pillion pads are nearly done. The initial base is a little unstable at the moment. Slight change in the shape/fitting should sort that out though... Will keep you all updated... There will be postage discounts for multiple items I would think. The postage we charge is the cost of the courier...

Is this pad going to be comfortable enough for a passenger to sit on for a decent amount of time, or is it more for just running around town?

Hopefully the passenger pad will be as comfortable to sit on as the riders seat...

Hi guys, The first option pillion seat is just about done. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320612962858&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:ITMade using the same foam and leather(s) as the solo seats. A second option will be a wedge shape seat but we're just sorting the best foam to use because of the additional height. Anyone that bought a solo seat and wants the matching pillion pad pm/email me your requirements and I'll sort a discount from the listed price.
Mike.

Those bags you have, do you have ones for both sides or just the left?

Hey all, Been busy trying to catch up with some stuff. Mercking- the bag caulfield has leathered is a left one as pictured in his shop. They are available in left and right hand. I'm making up a new frame this next week to create another 'unique' option too. Thanks for the support. The seats and fenders are selling well. Pillon footrest plates next I think..

I'm going to have to start figuring this out because I still want a saddle tan (possibly distressed) with the bulldog on it.

I bought one and installed it right before taking the 15 mile ride from my house to winter storage facility. It looks awesome and seemed fine at 35 degrees.

Hi John, A tan with the bulldog in what colour? The easiest way to sort it is a cut (and sewn) design, rather than carved.. This we can do...
The seats are very comfortable I found when testing my proto. Not just the foam and shape but also riding position and posture... Please keep giving feedback here, it's good to hear other opinions...

I think probably just black on tan. That way it will look good with black/blue or green or orange tin, whatever I end up with. What do you need for artwork? I was thinking of some text to go along with it but I'm not sure how. It would probably be "Friar's Ride." Not sure on the font style. If I have time tomorrow I'll pull up the bulldog graphic in Illustrator and throw some type at it and see what I think. Next I'll have to get one of them fancy brass battery covers with the bulldog etched into it.

If you send me your chosen design on jpeg or PDF I'll sort the price out for you John. I like the look of those brass covers too... But not to go on my SM.. Maybe for the wifes when I paint hers up...

Got a chance to test the new seat today on a run with Ben, 70+miles. As you say Grzegorz takes the arse a bit of time to get used to it but still surprisingly comfortable for such a slim seat. [image] [/image]

I put a tan Maverick solo seat on my blue/white America and it looks great. Very comfortable and as an added bonus really helps maneuverability at low speeds due to lower center of gravity.

Comfortable enough to do 2700 miles in 8 days. Don't get much better than that for a low profile seat.

It's great to hear all the positive reviews on my seats. I have spent a lot of time getting them just right (even down to getting the right leather type and thickness.) I'm planning over the next few weeks a vinyl version with designs on.. I have ideas but don't want to go too bling... (unless anyone fancies a metal flake seat..!) I've been having some tech issues with th'ebay which is complicating my shop listings... All the products I have had listed are still available even if not listed on eBay... Email me... I thank you for your support over the last 12 months and will be making a gesture here before Christmas... Watch this space.. !!

Hi Mike,
Expect an email from my wife enquiring into a distressed brown leather seat for my Christmas/Birthday present!
She doesn't have an eBay account, can she place an order via email?
Cheers
