I installed some mufflers I got from www.mikesxs.com sometime ago. I just installed them last month. I rejetted and am very happy with them. They are a muffler they sell for there Yamaha 2 into 1 header. They are 1-3/4" I.D. by about 15" long. I installed two. They run about $79 each on that web site. They also come with 3 bolts you can screw in to quite them down a bit if you want. I run them with the bolts out of the mufflers. They sound good to me and are NOT as loud as I thought they might be. Only draw back so far is I tend to drag them threw the turns,so I am going to have some extensions made to move them back and sweep them up a bit for clearance.

I'll try and get some as it sits now. Then after I move the mufflers back a bit. Had my grandson on back today went around a right turn and made some wonderful grinding noises. He's getting tooo big to ride on the back now 15 years old and taller than me.Poor little bike did have a load on it.

Sorry, has not had a wash since the last time it rained good.The Bonneville sprocket cover is new also,along with the chain and rear sprocket.

With the new 41 tooth rear sprocket it lets the wheel stand out a bit more,a little easier to see.

Pretty much OT but... interesting work you've done with pegs and foot controls!! Impressive!

My imagination, or is your chain a bit tight?

It's got 3/4" free play,it's also new.Free play is there out of the seat or sitting on it.The smaller sprocket lets you see the top of the chain more also.I may make a new chain guard,drop it down a bit.--Now I am getting paranoid.I'll have to recheck it again tomorrow.Thanks.

Moved the mufflers back further.









Washed and waxed today,then I used a new chain lube,went all over on the right side sorry about that.Cat put paw prints all over the seat,glad somebody liked it.

They look better further back for what I would call your touring setup. Like the rear indicators.

How about a stainless or alloy heat shield over the new black link pipe ?

Maybe down the road,need some cash. I may try selling some TORS I do not use any more. The turn signals are off a wrecked ZX7 Kawasaki I worked on for a young guy at work after he was trying to be a motorcycle stunter.Notice the little yellow sticker on the right side of the swing arm? It is a warning I got off a machine at work so you do not put your hand in the chain,suppose to be a joke,sorta,ha,ha .

Each its own ! I wouldn't mind moving the pegs out NOT in but hay that some thinking out of the box!
