Is anyone out there running the PROCOM CDI with a bike with Big Bore installed? I just purchased a new PROCOM unit and am trying to figure out which MAP I should start out with. I am running:

Wiseco Big Bore Kit
Ported and polished head
Open Exhaust
NOLOGY Coils and Wires
Light Carb Springs
Slides Drilled
Modified Airbox with UNI and Bellmouth
45 Pilots Can't remember what I am running for mains right now

Looking for any info I can get to make this addition as simple as possible. Any suggestions on which MAP I should try running? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Are you happy with the way it is running with that MAP? Mine should be here tomorrow or Saturday and anxious to get it installed and try it out. Thanks

Ron, have you installed the Procom yet? I have pretty much the exact same setup on my bike as yours. I ordered one and it should be here on Monday (9/20). I'm thinking I'll start out on map #9.

I haven't installed it just yet but I was thinking about starting out at MAP setting # 9 as well. A lot of people seemed to like the results at that setting. Keep me posted.

I have been running Map9 for a while now and its great.. I have in my hands a BIG BORE 904 kit and the bike is nearly stripped down so I shall be reporting back within a month.. it will take that long as Im having paintwork done, fibre glassing bits and powder coating others.

Will post photos once done with my own design air filter mod..

Without hi jacking the thread I got it CHEAP :P my mate went to the states 6 weeks back to buy old Triumps and stuff, they know a US dealer there, he sold it to them and they shipped it home for me.

As it stands its working out VERY reasonable... Im taking the jugs down tomorrow so they can get the sleeves put in.

Engine should be back together soon after that.. need to powder coat that chrome breather tube at the front of the engine as its a bit rusty.

Expecting the jugs to be pretty cheap to have sleeved as to my naked eye the sleeves are the same outer diameter, so its press out and press in NO DRILLING.

TrOjAn, OEM cylinders are alloy Nikosil coated, no sleeves. They will have to be bored out before the sleeves can be pressed in.

OK thanks for clearing that up Pieman, actually makes me happier as I thought for one minute there I could have just bored my Triumph ones out

Just to clear that up... my existing sleeves hve to be bored out completly? Wow, sounds expensive LOL
