Well 60,000 on my 03 Triumph America and all I,m doing is fixing, frist the computer and now a pin that keeps the right foot peg and master cyclender form rotation. drove a roll pin in with red lock tight made it back 600 miles. I surely wish all my other forgien junk was built so bad. But I did notice one problem when I got home. Has any one got a strate line drawing of the starting ckt. I've got a switch acting up. And going into some hard curves a littel fast got to thinking. It might be a bad time if I had a stock head bearing going out with this sidecar set up, What is the number of those timken bearing set-up for the head?Rudy

I keep losing those right foot control rollpins, too. Time to upgrade to a Harley.

I replaced the roll pin by drilling out the hole and used a bottom tap, so that I could install a stainless metric button head bolt in its place, no problems since

That way you could fix all the other things that have fell off along with the roll pins.

Mine has been nothing but trouble. In '04, I had to replace that rubber doo-dad that holds the speedometer to the mudguard.

Bucky knows about this, as does Moe.
Thanks for the reminder, I need to do this as well.
My headstock bearings have taken a set, and need to
be replaced.

Don't forget the muffler bearings and blinker fluid. If those go, you're screwed!

Well, I have to admit a few years back I lost my original side cover when it flew off my bike somewhere along California Hwy 1 near Big Sur.

Of course, it was most likely because I had pulled it off the bike in San Luis Obispo for some reason, and then when putting it back on I didn't make sure all three of the prongs on it were fully pressed into those little brackets on the frame with the rubber grommets.

(saaaay...ya think I can blame Triumph for that?)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

my 05 I call her Matilda, has been a night mare. had to replace the speedo cable, the air filter ( and lost the snorkel). the air injection trash is still on the shelf ( it will not throw its self in the bin). had to put in bigger main jets and shim up the needle. I also had to throw those 30 lbs junk stock slash cut silencers away and replace them with some very light wieght 18" turndowns. Now i still keep changing things.
