Looks like a good run. What time do you guys reckon to arrive in Ephrata? I'll probably take a route something like this:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=21133&daddr=39.440435,-76.627064+to:PA-425+N%2FW+Woodbine+Rd+to:Mt+Sidney+Rd+to:100+Calico+St,+Ephrata,+PA+17522+(American+Legion)&hl=en&geocode=FSXXWAIdKv5r-ymfN5-pABjIiTH6Z02jIvq8Hw%3B%3BFeJ2XgId8ptx-w%3BFVgBYwIdCCN1-w%3BFS0gZQId9IZ1-yF8T-N0EERmSA&mra=dpe&mrcr=0&mrsp=1&sz=13&via=1,2,3&dirflg=h&sll=39.41259,-76.627407&sspn=0.099601,0.154324&ie=UTF8&ll=39.821194,-76.324768&spn=0.79211,1.234589&z=10

Should I plan to have breakfast before I ride up for breakfast?

10 AM sounds good. I usually reluctantly pass on the breakfast, because it looks so awful and there is usually quite a line. I say relunctantly, because this event is a fund raiser for the VFW. So, instead I get a cup of coffee and put $5 in the pot. It's a good event and cause to support.

I'm planning to ride up to Ephrata from Randallstown, going up I-83 and US-30.

You guys want to rendezvous at the Rutter's store just south of US-30 on North Hills Road (NE corner of York, PA) at 0900-0915? Figured you might be out there about that time.

Maybe we should show up with instant oatmeal and just ask for hot water at the breakfast

Afterward, we could go 8 miles past Ephrata to Adamstown to Stoudt's Restaurant and Brewery for a brunch--they open at 1130 on Sunday (bring a parking puck--gravel parking lot).

I think that is where I'm meeting another buddy who lives in the area. Let me check with him on that Rutters, but it sounds right.

Wow, a great ride today in PA. Smaug and I met a few other friends and did the Breakfast Ride. The weather was terrific, even a bit chilly in the AM (51 degrees when I left). We stopped at a diner in York and wolfed down some good chow as well.

You are close, shoot up for the October date. I can't do that Sunday, so I'll have to catch you next year. We ate a great diner in York, right on 30 near Olive Garden. I'm still full from french toast and sausage links!
