So, I've got a set of ceramic coated BC Bombers on order. I was thinking of doing ceramic coated headers too, but with the heat shields and whatnot on the stock headers, ceramic coating seems a little unrealistic. Has anybody done this? Are there other headers available that fit the bill? I was thinking maybe I could fit these bonneville headers:
http://www.british-customs.com/triumph-bonneville-thruxton-ceramic-coated-headers.html
and cut them to size. Any opinions on that?

Thanks.
Lance

Had mine done @ JET HOT. They look incredible and it's been 2 years now. No problem at all with the heat shields, it looks factory.

The standard Bonneville headers will overlap where your foot controls are located, the only way you can use them is to relocate your foot controls.

TBA, Stainless extractors / drag pipes, 65mm over forward controls, Thruxton needles, 904cc, head ported, lowered 1-inch, Console removed, relocated battery box, Australia.

Do you remember what kind of pricing scheme JetHot used? Was it per linear foot of pipe or something else? I was thinking of getting this done but haven't sent them my specs yet to get a quote.

A friend of mine had the headers coated on his std bonnie. Cost about $125 for both.

Apropos of nothing JetHot quoted me $115 to do a set of D&D mufflers without the heat shields or tips.

I'm intrigued now. So we have Jet Hot doing coating. What other guys/or gals out there are doing a good piece of work on something like this? I think I smell a winter project here.
