Last time I checked the precipitation is spotty. Except Sunday in Anacortes it's possible to suck worse.

Whether you take 14 or 84, Biggs is definitley THE place to get gas between Kennewick/Pasco and Portland.

Printed out a couple maps. I'm not as high-tech and new fangled as Zmilin. As long as I gas up in Umatilla and then Biggs, I'll be fine. I'm 95% certain I'm going the more southern route over Lolo pass. The 130 miles from Lolo to Kooskia will be the hard stretch. Should have enough range but I'm pretty sure there's gas somewhere in between. It's not a high-speed highway blast.

It rained like heck, still had a good time though we got there kind of late.

Learned a good lesson, don't ride with someone who has to stop every 50-60 miles, it really, really slows you down.

Maybe I'll actually get to see the Oyster Run someday. On something more reliable like a Rocket III.

Great time! Sorry I didn't run into any of the BA crowd, I only saw 1 america and no speedies; since I was with Patty we were on the road king. Maybe next year we'll get the weather on our side
