OK fellow Coloradans, the gas stations out here seem to run their octane numbers about 2 points lower than "back East", so low grade is 85 instead of 87, mid is 87 or 88 instead of 89 or 91, and premium is just 91. Is it OK to run the 87/88 octane stuff in our bikes out here?

It's an altitude thing. We'll see what the indigenous folk there do.

Well, I'm still waiting for my "carbs" to adjust to this altitude thingy. About 1 in the afternoon, I start running a bit rich and bogging down, and feel like a nap, and I've been hitting the sack every night around 9pm and going out like a light! Nary a toss nor a turn to be had...

It's the same way in Utah.
