I don't know what it is but Motorcyclist Magazine has had some great articles featuring Triumphs over the last few months.
Check out this beauty in the September 2010 issue.
Here is the companies web site. StreetMaster

That Streetmaster website looks pretty interesting. I will be going over it in detail when I have time, but for now I have great interest. Thank you for posting the link!

It is pretty interesting.
According to the article, they plan on selling parts which in turn will help fund this project with the hopes that they can build and sell some of these bikes at an "affordable" price.
I am most interested in the engine work they have done. They are talking 25% increase in horsepower.

I'm not sure if I've ever mentioned to folks before around here how much I like Street Trackers...but maybe I have.

(...and I sure like THIS one!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Has anyone asked what the rolling chassis is going for? Just curious (Read as: can't currently afford it).

I also really like the sub frame oil cooler and the hydrolic clutch.

Definitely a web page to keep an eye on.

Just a guess here Jim, but I'd bet that whole bike would run ya somethin' well into the 20 Large range, and just the rolling chassis alone would probably set ya back at least 6 to 8 Large or maybe more, what with all the premium grade brakes, forks and shocks on it.

Well the article said the prototype cost about $70,000. They figure once they start building in quantity they should sell for $30,000 to the public.

I sure don't get this look
Just looks like an accident waiting to happen - if not my finger then a pebble. Either way sounds expensive and painful.
