So, after 11,000 miles I finally wore off the thread on my Metzler Lasertech front OEM tire> I have a spare Kenda K657 Challenger tire laying around that should fit.

Does anyone have any experience with this tire replacement?

i don't know if it is wise to mis-match tyres, only recommended if from same make at a push. Best buy another Lasertech.

Kenda's are pretty much know as low budget tires. I've never heard of anyone here mounting one. I see them on old Japanese bikes and choppers. If it is in good shape, while it might not handle as well as a Metzler or Avon, it will get you down the road.
