That's pretty cool. Probably saves some tax money too instead of sending out a huge fire truck when a car catches on fire or a small brush fire in a field.

Somehow, "fire appliance" doesn't carry the same cache as "FIRE ENGINE".

I'm happy for the new moto-fire-appliance, but sad for the Fire Engine. I weep, in a manly way.

Pretty soon, I guess we'll see the loss of the Fire Station in favor of the Fire Appliance Storage Facility...probably just be single Firefighters in little cubby-hole spaces spread throughout a city.

It won't be practical to keep dalmations any more. Playing checkers between calls will become a thing of the past.

I weep some more.

Some 90 years ago, Indian was developing applications for their (then) new 3 wheelers. Among the many applications were a fire trike and a mini street sweeper. Odd how history keeps repeating.

Ok

good: you get to sit on a siren and wear a neon-yellow helmet.

bad: you have to put out a fire with a garden hose - maybe a pressure washer.

No use for getting cats out of trees though.

Well on second thoughts, I suppose you could with a well aimed jet of water.
