Ya know what Jeff... that was a cool tune. I'm gonna ask the band to cover that one. But as for over the top ENERGY? Nightwish blows most outta the water!! And I mean... Tarja is amazing... I could watch and listen to her endlessly. What a voice... what a band... what a performance!!!

Best performance ever? I dont know if it ever, but I saw Wall of Voodoo in either late 1985 or early 1986 (just after Stan Ridgeway left) and they put on an awesome show. They were playing with Oingo Boingo, those guys were pretty darn good too. Danny Elfman was amazing to watch with that xylophone that stretched across the entire statge. Then there was X, one of my top 10 favorite bands, they always put on an awesome show. D.R.I. was always good before they put out the Dealing With It album. Muddy River Nightmare Band, now those guys put on a fun show.

I gotta chime in here, I've seen a ton of bands over the years. One the most amazing performances ever was Dragon Force. I as at their first ever show in USA. I wasn't even a big fan until I actually saw them. Amazing.

I'm a country music girl and I loved these guys. The energy is incredible. You can actually understand the words. I wonder if Tarja is classically trained, she's got quite a range and voice. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, talk about ENERGY eh, Kathy! I'd have to say Tarja is classically trained... she borders on operatic singing.
Here's another one for ya. The whole band is so theatrical and their stage presence is over the top!!
