Not riding to Sturgis but my act is playing the Buffalo Chip the 12th so I get a free trip ;-)

Leaving Dubuque on 31 July.
Staying in Chamberlain first night.
Holiday Inn in Sturgis from Sunday on.
Anyone know of any Triumph events going on out there?

Boy I like that Chamberlen SD. Camped their 2 yr. ago $15.00 for tent and a pool. Stayed at Buffolo Chip 4,5 years ago a littel to price for me, but have some real top name acts. I'm going try to make Sioux Falls frist nite then Sturgis by Sat. afternoon. I staies at The Days End camp grounds. Bands not much but after 4 beers their not bad and it clean and close to everything. $120.00 for 4 days camping. And I don't know of any Triump happen's. Going to taked the Harley, because the Triumph has a new tire and I got three ralleys planded after Sturgis for the Triumph with sidecar.Rudyr

Good luck! When we went in '08, I saw 9 triumphs total, and about 5 were Rockets.

I don't remeber what year it was 08 or 09 when I was ther Triumph had a bunch of rocket 3 their they were really pushing them. And Me and some UP UP with Triumph was their. I told him I didn't want to ride a Rocket 3. He said why boy did unload on him befor it was over he was useing 4 lettewr words and how much Triumph had spent on developing the Rocket 3. I don't know who he was but
the Triumph truck( the people with him gave us lottes of room, he must of been someone high up in Triumph) has not been back to Sturgis as far as I know. Some of the Corp. can't see what the littel people want because they or to high in the clouds with what they think we want.Rudy

Major, I'll be staying at the Days End campground also. Arriving the 5th of August be there until the 13th. Staying with a group from the Sturgis.com message board. Well have a big shade tent towards the back of the campground with a banner that says Borracho's. Asks for Sportstergirl, that's my handle on the other board.
Maybe we can catch up for a drink or two up at the bar.
