I got the bolts from ace hardware this week. The closest I could get were 3" which are about a 1/4" too long.No biggy, thats what hacksaws are for.I ground away the needed material as shown in my pics.It was simple enough.Just make sure you fit any long bolts you may use correctly or it may bottom out without you noticing at first.I couldnt get the flanged hex caps but they did at least have chrome. http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/fishpictures/showgallery.php?cat=856they are the pics labeled new cover.

talking about sprocket covers, has anyone got or fitted the joker sprocket cover on their BA or SM? http://www.bellacorse.com/bce191.htm

Can't imagine why it wouldn't. Same friggin engine. By that reasoning, the T-100 cover shouldn't fit either. Speaking of which, the only reason (besides $$$) I don't order up that Joker piece is because I have an extra T-100 style cover off a Scrambler for modding. Much cheaper and still some semblance of coverage.

Its much easier for a supplier to say it doesnt fit and avoid a POd customer then to go out on a limb a say it might fit.The joker would look good if you had the whole bike decked out in such a skeletal fashion. The bonny covers match our bikes much better.

They do fit, Just as the bonnie one fits, but you have to grind a corner off.

the joker sprocket cover will directly bolt on with no mods. Theres nothing to cut because its just the bolt spaces pretruding out.
The bonnie cover needs to be cut because thers a part of it that fits flush with the casing and gets in the way of our frames, which are different than the bonnie's.
One note about that joker cover though for speedmaster owners especially. The part of the casing under the stock cover is not black behind it so when you use a cage cover like this you see that unfinished piece of casing behind it and it doesnt look that great. Not to mention the grime from the chain showing all the time.
I actually made my own out of diamond plate and didnt use it cause it looked like crap showing that much. And I like things pretty bare bones too.
