The guy was slammed, ejected and dragged over 1/2 a mile but the fact he wasn't wearing a helmet is important to mention. That's because ya know he would have been fine if he was wearing one.

Crap, I hadn't heard about that. I hope they catch them. Broken Arrow/Tulsa is a very dangerous place for motorcyclists.

This will be really hard on the family... just the shear angst of wrestling how someone, anyone could just drive away. And they lost their loved one... more than anyone should have to bear.

Not just drive away but drag the guy for better than 1/2 mile and then keep going!

Thanks for the heads-up, but why is it?

It's just like all big cities, no one watches out for bikers. We have some of the highest car insurance premiums in the nation. The first week I owned my TBA I had a pick-up with a horse trailer pull out in front of me and some guy run a stop sign and almost broadside me. In both incidents I had to lock the brakes to avoid being in an accident. There seems to be an inordinate amount of motorists who text and use their cell phones while driving. There are 2 main arteries that are deadly to bikers. US 169 and the Broken Arrow Expressway. People go between 10-25 above the speedlimit. On 169 you have to go 15 or 20 mph above the limit just to keep up and not be dusted off. Also we have a lot of knuckleheads on sport bikes who think the speed limit on 169 is 100. That's why I come to work at 7am and leave at 4 to avoid the crazies. Also there is the police. They use their cells as much as the general public while driving. I really think phones should be hands free in cars or banned all together. My rant for the day.

Yeah, that's what makes it even more inhumane. Here, a young man tried to stop a fleeing motorist from stealing $12 worth of gas from a service station. He was struck and dragged to his death. Unbelievable!

What gets me is that the guy who did the dragging wasn't the guy who hit the bike, so he no reason at all not to stop as the biker had fallen into his path. Instead, he gives another human being as much consideration as a plastic shopping bag blowing in the wind.

If either of these two drivers have kids they should be taken away from them to reduce the influence they'll have on the next generation, for the sake of society

When they go to ****** I hope they pick the room where everyone is standing knee deep in poop drinking coffee. Then just after they get in there the devil says "OK coffee break over, everyone stand on your head."
