Sweet li'l Bobber there, Dave! Yeah, I'll bet the RE does grab a whole lot of attention out there, too! BTW...what year is that li'l beauty anyway?
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

The RE is an 03, the biggest mod was moving the swing arm back about 4", then ditching the air box, front fender (which is on the rear now)center stand, had to weld a kick stand on it, my old stock gutted HD muffler(sounds way cool), some brass bits here & there. All the electronics are in the tool boxes right now but I have an old brass fire extinguisher that i want to slice open and put all the electronics in and mount that puppy under the seat. Its even cool to work on, easy and im not too worried about messing something up.

Just curious. I've posted more than once how I'd like to put a hardtail, and a Springer on a (Teal Blue ?) one. Bob the back fender,(no front fender), and ad drag bars. I'm sure the later ones have disks, right?
And you may see me tonight

Yea I think all the G5s and C5s have disk brakes now, i think since 08 maybe..hard tail and a springer would be sick on one of these...I still may do it myself but all the stuff i did so far was so easy and quick, and i am diggin the way it handles an all, i will prolly leave it like it is for a while

I know I've seen someone around Columbia on a RE in the past few years. Unfortunately I've never been on my bike when I've seen him. definitely a nice bobber.
Remember, always be yourself.
