For those of you who have replaced their warped front rotor, was it worth the $200ish cost? Even though the front brake pulses like crazy, my bike stops just fine. Did the new rotor warp as well?

Didn't buy into the hype, you can keep the change.

When mine warped on my Speedmaster, they were replaced under warranty. Yes, it was worth getting them replaced. No, the new ones have not warped (that was four years ago).

For the $202.45 you can get the EBC MD 601 floating rotor from FastEddy http://www.fasteddysports.com/?page_id=3&product_id=172 or for $232.99 you can get EBC Pro-Lite Disc System Complete with EBC HH Sintered Brake Pads from NewSpeedmaster.com http://www.newspeedmaster.com/html/ebc_brakes.html.

Not to sound like a complete moron but..........
My bike has pretty much pulsed ever since I bought it. It's an 07 that I bought new last April from Matt Capri at SouthBay. I've done all the servicing myself and a few minor mods (AI removal, UNI pods & Rejet, debaffled, and bat box relocation) does this void my warranty? Any suggestions?

Your warranty should still be good as long as you're the original owner and have had it less than two years.

Huh... mine warped too. Sounds like it's a bit of an inferior component on our bikes!

I replaced thye single rotor on my America with the EBC floater and YES it was definitely worth it! Never had further issues with it, and it's now been transplanted to a friends bike and solved his pulsing issues too.
I have since upgraded to dual front brakes and (knock on wood) have not had any problems with (new)stock rotors in over 12000 miles.
I almost exclusively use front brakes and ride pretty hard, so the EBC rotor was a fantastic upgrade over stock.

Mine warped. Don't ask me when, but it was probably more than 2 years old at the time.

I just keep riding, and they either straightened themselves back up, or I just can't feel it anymore.

Have put on many miles since, and it was pretty bad at one time, but not a concern any longer.

Just ride until it goes away and don't worry about it (unless they want to warrant it).

Got mine replaced (and I was the second owner of the bike) because it would shake pretty badly when I got the bike.

Got a new rotor about 6 months ago from Triumph (mine is a 2007). I can feel it is starting to pulse a little already but it's very faint. Hopefully it won't aggravate more this time.
