This can't be right....I recently moved from the UK to the US, but couldn't bring my 06 America with me. However I did bring my touring (dual) seat because I intended buying another America 'over here'. Well I have, only to find that I can't use the seat because I can't buy the seat mount on it's own (it's the same on all dual seat models). The local dealer wants $300 for a new seat just to get the bracket.....

Do not fret! All you need to spend is $8.95 to get Gunfighter/Touring Solo Seat Adapter from FastEddy. BTW... Welcome! Soren

I ordered the "bayonet post" (I think thats what you are speaking of) from the dealer. I remember he had to look on the Speedmaster fender page of the micro fiche.

Thanks Lonzo
I did try that approach but my local dealer wouldn't spend the time looking unless I had the VIN for the bike it would fit!
I placed an order with Fast Eddy now so hopefully that is work

That's funny since neither the fender or seats have changed since day one.

I must be an idiot. The bolt arrived yesterday and a quick look at it made me wonder, how do I install it (with those plastic washers an all)? It ain't easy being stupid you know!
