While at a little party I had a few sips off a mason jar and then did a huge burnout. Since then my horn and turn signals no workie. Where should I look first?

Fuses. Relays. Connections in the grips.

I'll check fuse 7. How could doing a burnout cause a short?

My questions, good sir, are; 1. What kind of virulent, malignant strain of testosterone causes one to do a 'burn-out'? 2. What sort of orgasmic pleasure arrives when ruining a tire and stressing every last driveline component? 3. Why would one who operates a motor vehicle at full throttle with no need or desire for forward progress have any concern for a horn or turn signals.

In regard to 1 and 2, see "mason jar". In regard to 3, you're right! Who needs 'em!?!?!

When you abuse a girl like that, she stops talking to you and no longer signals her intentions... thus the lack of horn and indicators.

Hmm.. For me in that type of situation, the horn seems to work loud and clear. In fact its hard to get it to turn off without some real finessing. I also generally loose access to the headlights at the same time...
Getting back to the actual problem, when I had the harness come loose from one of the clips on the inside of the rear fender and rub periodicly against the tire, I lost my turn signals, brake lights and horn.

It was the fuse. Can't figure what caused it to pop. Maybe it shorted in the torrential rain I rode in the day after the burnout.
