I really like the Avon Venom's! They definitelty stick to the road in the twisties! I bought mine from Motorcycle Superstore for I believe $267.00 Delivered and there is also a $25.00 rebate per tire I believe till the end of this month if I remember right.

This is what I'm running, Avon sticks to the road like glue, even in the rain.
In Scotland we know about riding in the rain

I looked at the link you provided. Is that the combo you use? What does a 110/90 look like in comparrison to a 130/70?

I don't think the Roadriders come in the right sizes for our bikes do they? I looked at Motorcycle Superstore and they do not have the sizes for our bikes. No 15" tires and they do not have the right size of 18" tires either.

How and what size did you get? Have you had Venom's or something else to compare them with?

Yes this is what I have on. Can't compare it to 130/70 as I've never used any other tyre sizes.

Well, I've rode probably every manufacturer product over the last 40 years, but I couldn't write a comparison, other than to say their tire feels great between me and the road, for the type of tire it is.
My riding style keeps me below 130 mph and off of closed curcuit courses, so I've never seen the need to pay for the performance rating of the Venoms.
My front Roadrider is a 110/80-18.

I looked at the roadriders ,at least on one site.I dont need a race tire either but I dont see the correct size for my bike. The venoms are a bit pricey which Is why I havnt taken the plunge yet till I get lots of feedback.

The 110/90-18 is the size that came stock with my 2007 TBA. It also keeps the speedo a lot more accurate.

Ya, their both Avon tires. Compare the capability/cost/lifespan and you might consider them to be a "dual compound Venom".
