need any info about Epco s/s exhaust what is worth

I can't remember the price, but I do know it was reasonable. But I do remember the great customer service. These are good poeple (Like Brent). The sound is GREAT! And the looks are just what I wanted.

Love my Epcos. They're around $400-420 USD.

I have Epcos on both of my bikes. Tom was a pretty good guy to work with on my first set, my second set I picked up here used.

I'm happy with mine. They came with jets and mounting bolts. I had no problems removing the stock pipes becuse the bike was only a week old when I installed them. But, there have been some who have had problems with the internal nuts on the factory pipes breaking loose so they had to grind off the heads of the original bolts.
The sound has a nice snap to it and you get a really good power gain. The finish is good and, being made of stainless, it lasts.

Had my Epco's since day one. Great sound and good powergain. Don't forget to use the jets they send with it....Angelis

I installed 3/4 length Epcos and the K&N/freak kit a few years ago from Brent. I don't know which did what performance wise, but together they make an excellent mod. Haven't felt the need to change anything since then. As said, use the jets provided (160). If they don't snug up on the headers, you might want to seal with RTV or similar product. I didn't need it. They're pretty civilized around town, I don't think you'll attract the noise police. Blue-haired ladies, sorted and assorted retirees love the Triumph.

I just put a set on i got from brent the performance all i have to say is DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG. After two years of not knowing my bike was turned on and thinking it was quick. what a differance. the bike feels a ton faster
and i havent done the freak kit. this bike freaking flys with just the rejett and the pipe change. it is louder a lot louder but man it seems to really want to go.plus brent was great to deal with

its next i just need to build up the courage to do my own modifacation again

It's winter, plenty of time to fix anything you mess up before the good riding comes back.

Anybody have any good pictures of the Epcos? Or know where to find any besides the Epco site?

FYI, I got mine made longer for $50 extra. Don't know if that is still an option or not...

I got my EPCO's for around $400'ish. I asked for the the pipes to be the same length of the stocks. When I got them, they were a little bit longer than that, about an extra 3-4 inches. I think I paid like a $40 or $50 up charge for the custome length. Awesome pipes. Love the way they look and their sound is even better. I noticed a performance gain. Wouldn't call it significant but definitely noticeable. Took me a while to minimize the popping on decel. Great folks to deal with.

Interesting. I didn't know they would custom make the length. That was one thing I didn't care for was the shorter length. Now...if I can just convince myself that they are not too loud.

I was trying to get them made to a larger diameter too but it was taking MONTHS (and they had the fire at the shop) so I settled for length. I'm pretty happy with them. Not obnoxiously loud I don't think.

I don't think they are too loud. I mean, you know your riding a bike and not a sewing machine. Mine don't set off car alarms as I passs or anything. I may hear a warning chirp from them but that's it. I think having the longer pipes works to your advantage as well, putting the sound behind you.



Yeah, what's up with the blue brackets?

No Chris, you must understand: a blue shift means something is coming towards you; a red shift means something is moving away from you. As in that fast red bike blowing right by you.

air is your bike black with red or red with black?

It is done with a dark metal flake maroon base coat with candy realistic flames over it. It goes from looking like a pretty bright paint job in the sun to almost looking black at night. Sometimes this is very dependent on the angle of viewing. I am way happy with it, catches the eye. Here is another example with direct light from the flash.

Actually, Gary James has red pipe brackets, and when I changed my pipes, the brackets were all crappy, so they needed to be re-painted. I had a can of safety blue laying around (still have some) so I painted them that. Can always change it. I love blue. Truth be told, if they had the blue when I got mine, I probably would have gotten it anyway. And my dice are blue too. Little splashes of color do a lot on a black and chrome bike!

I just installed my Epco's that I purchased through New Bonneville and I LOVE them, highly recommend. Look and sound great. Got the Straight cuts
