Just wondering. When you remove the AI do you get any performance gain or reduction in fuel comsumption or is the only benefit to reduce the "blueing" of the head pipes? Thanks.

Just the blueing. If there is a gain at all it's small. You no longer run the vacuum operated part so you don't rob that vacuum from the left intake possibly making balance better but that's it.

Just the blueing, but removing the AI is a necessary first step if you want to remove the entire airbox, and replace it with high performance pod filters.
