Anyone know what is to become of the Bristol Fighter now that Dodge has decided to drop the Viper? Will Dodge continue to supply them with engines, will they use another source, is is this the end of the greatest Brit sports car?

I like this part, "A potential maximum speed of more than 270 mph has been electronically limited to a more than sufficient 225 mph at only 4500 rpm", and you can still drive it around town. No cooky cutter cars can do that.

Sorry, but I think any sport car manufacturer should make their own motors as well.

Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.

Lotus never did and still don't.It's a british thing.
Even Rolls Royce used to use GM Turbo350 auto transmissions.

Speaking of British sports cars using American engines, check out the 2011 Hennessey Venom GT.

"Once you’ve got your head around the output of the tweaked LS9, which ranges from 725 to 1200 hp, consider that the car is expected to weigh only 2400 pounds."

It could be yours for a small price of $600,000. That includes a one day driving course so you don't kill yourself trying to drive it.
