So I went on a road trip and found that my cramp buster works well but I need a throttle lock. Anybody know of one that fits stock grips on "05" america that I don't have to mod. to get it to work. And under $50
Thanks

Get a black schrunchie (elastic hair thingy). Wrap it around the throttle where it meets the control. When cramped use your thumb and force it between the grip and housing. Let go.

Under 99 cents.

I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

If you want an actual lock I think $50 is a little low. This one is $85:

Yea a little much for throttle lock. I saw some grips with lock on the on another post for about $130 that look good but I have a 3000 mile trip comming up real soon and still need to get some saddle bags too. Anyway cruiser customing has vista throttle lock for 1" bars at $30 but I think it has to be modified.

Yes it does. I have seen some pics of it on here some where. I would test out the scrunchie idea, but only use it for long dead highway. your bike is named for a chick I hope! LOLOLOL

( it has to be modified to go under the control housing and some such)

I have Kuryakyn grips, so I finally popped for the Brakeaway. $175 from CruiserCustomizing, but it works great and I use it all the time, including situations where I wouldn't have trusted my old o-ring.
