Hey guys I'm planning my 1st road trip from Fresno,CA. to Vegas (pick up a friend) then to Mt. Rushmore and back. June21st til I get home (I got 10 days to do it in) Never been on a road trip longer then 8hr before. Got any advise to give me.

Hello Bart, sounds like a fun ride. AmyLee and I made it to Mt. Rushmore last year during the Sturgis Rally. We used www.rafterj.com as our base camp. All I can think of, for advice is take plenty of pics,and take your rain gear, Wyoming and South Dakota has their share of afternoon thunderstorms. Have a fun and trouble free trip.

Guess, what one thing I took out of my bags, since I was going to Utah in August was? I think Boise got an inch of rain in less than 24 hours. I was in the middle of it.
