Hi all, on NTBF there were a couple of threads complaining about the ridiculous cost of OEM ignition and steering lock replacement keys and even the key blanks were extortionate...anyone had any experience of this?

Anyway, someone over there then posted this info

"I've had an extra set of keys cut at my local locksmith (ignition/steering lock - to hide on the bike)

A Yamaha and a Volvo blank work! (no need to pay genuine Triumph price)

Ignition: Yamaha - ILCO YH47 (X119)
Steering lock: Volvo - SILCA NE10".....useful stuff to know.

Regards

Jan

New Triumph Bonneville Forum
Another forum dedicated to Triumph motorcycles. These guys are mostly regular Bonnie and T100 riders though. But a lot of great folks and info available there too.

Awesome. I broke my steering lock key and was wondering what I was going to do.
Thanks!
