i realize this is the forum--instead of the tech talk- [and i honestly looked,, but please give me one break] but,, is the tire pressure 38#s front and rear?????? due to one reason or another,, i ain't cranked my bike since feb. of '09.. it;s under my carport, outa the motorcycle shed,, going down the road tomorrow---thanks in advance---fatrat

well, i still read this forum a lot. for those aware,,, my wife is still alive,, holding on [thank you darling],, and i had a small stroke in thanksgiving morning. been one thing after another, but, neither of us are gonna lay down without a squak!!!!thanks for the reply bigbill, i need to air up before it gets dark,, did not want to search [still have no google-fu] for 2 hours. some will say " that goober needs to learn"--but i promise-- i'm still trying. anywat,,hello from fatrat to all the outstanding fine folks on this board.

o.k.,, aired up,chain lubed, ready to go!!! i cranked the america and the FJR for first time in 15 months wednesday afternoon. the FI FJF fired instantly,, the bonneville was a little stubborn [4-5 tries]. the bottom line appears to be that FI is not too shabby. both had marvil mystery oil, stabil, and seafoam in them--something works-----will report if i make it o.k.,, after a 15 month lay-off---ride safe....
