Short notice folks I know. I'm planning on heading down to Landsend on the 19th May returning to Aberdeen by the 24th.
Anyone up for a run joining up or part way?

The last people I know who did the Lands End to John O'groats was Dafydd and Kev R and I met them and rode with them for a few hours... Unfortunately Colin the hand is still out of action otherwise I would of joined you for a couple of hours.. Good luck with the ride though...

Hope it goes well and one thing is for certain it will be warmer than Ullapool.

Any idea of times / places??

No real hard and fast route set, if you want to meet up somewhere drop me a pm .

Plan so far is to hit York meet up with Ivan (Bluenose)possible overnight stay in or around York. Head off to Landsend Thursday, then take it easy on return leg.

Ha! I thought that was Aberdeen, Maryland, about an hour from my home.......turns out it's a bit more......wish I could join you!

How was the ride?

Fantastic. Never saw any rain or even a damp bit of road in nearly 1800 miles. Spent a lot more time on the bike than I expected, one 620 mile day. Did quite a bit of touring in your neck of the woods Paul, you don't know how lucky you are having roads like that down there. On the road back I ended up going to the Plucked Eagle rally near Blackpool, good night that. Next time I do something like that I'll be a bit better prepared though.
All in all a thoroughly good time.
