Scored tickets today to the Chicago show on the pre-sale drawing, anyone else going to be seeing this tour?

I've seen the Floyd twice (once each with/without Waters), but never Waters alone. Have a great time!

I rec'd an email from RogersWaters.com saying I was "chosen" to be eligible for a pair of presale tickets. But, apparently they were already gone, since I was out of town this weekend with no laptop.

But, at $575 for two tickets, I'd have to pass anyway. Any idea what regular seats will be going for? No way I'm paying that kind of dough to see the Wall, no matter how much I love Pink Floyd......

From their presale website:
Roger Waters: The Wall Live - Verizon Center - Washington, DC - October 10, 2010

Presale begins Wednesday, May 5 at 12:00 pm EDT.

Our Price: $551.00 USD

Includes the following charges:
Base Price: $506.00 USD
RogerWaters.com Service Charge: $25.00 USD
Transaction Fee: $20.00 USD
Floor Sections 2-9 - Sold Out Sections 104-107 & 201-214 - Sold Out

Ok I dont know about you, but I have yet to see any group worth $500+ to see. And whats sad this isnt even Pink Floyd the group as a whole. Ill pull out my copy of the wall movie from years ago and watch it.

The pre-sale tix were for $75, $125 and $250 but you had to buy a pair. I'm guessing by the time you clicked on the link all of the lower priced pre-sales tix had been sold. I got a pair of the $125 tix on Friday, there were no $75 tix left.

Rich

Of course, the general public sale started today at 10am.

DC presale was supposed to be open today. I was traveling on the road, so my work buddy tried to get four tickets, but found none available other than tickets purchased thru other companies and resold at a higher rate. We don't want to go more than $80/ticket.
We bought a pair of Roger Waters tickets for Madison Square Garden a few weeks before that show (Dark Side album) for less than $100 each, hopefully we'll get lucky again.

Unless you're paying $500+ for over 6 people

My buddy sent me this clip. Roger has really changed over years. He used to be the ****** of the group, now he seems to just enjoying life and his music. That mantle was passed to Gilmour apparently....
