Saw a puddle of a thick liquid smelling like gas under the bike. Went under the bike to find two severed tubing and a third tube that looks damaged in some way. Heres links to the pics. Please let me know what you think and an estimated repair. Those look like the breather tubes.They are supposed to be there and open so the carbs can breathe and the gas tank can vent and the air box can drain.

IF you overfill your gas tank, you can get some leakage from the tank vent.
If you overfill your crankcase you can get some leakage from the airbox (crankcase vents into airbox).
If you use an oiled reusable filter such as a UNI, and you over oil it you can get leakage from the airbox.

Did you do in excess of 100mph? It happened to me and scared the crap out of me...,I have done it since and figured it out... Don't do 100+ mph in the USA for many reasons...

Savanna , don't feel bad. In 1977 out of college I bought my first new car, a BMW 320i. About three days after picking it up I walk out of work and there is fluid all over the driver's side front wheel and tire. In a panic I drove to the dealer, the tech came out, stuck his finger in the fluid and smelled it. He stood up looked at me and said, "I think it's dog ******." The dealership never let me live that down, but, I bought three more BMW's from them because of their diagnostic skills.

No, but it had to be a big dog as the center caps of the mags were wet. It's a true story much to my embarrassment. I was just paranoid, knowing I had just bought a car that I could barely afford. Being an idiot might have contributed also.
