Is there a certain type of grip that will fit our bikes, or will any of the grips made for Harleys fit? Are there any modifications that need to be made?

I took mine in and we just put them side by side with a new set right out of the package, I don't know if they were for a Vulcan or whatever, but the dealer should be able to help you out.

I used Harley bobber grips...just had to modify the throttle controls a little bit and adjust throttle cables and carbs...not that difficult, well worth it...most comfy grips I ever had...fat rubber grips...slid right on 1" bars

I had the Kuryaken grips on mine. I liked them with the throttle boss.

The "Old School" grips like bonedaddy's are what I was looking for. How much/ hard is modification that needs to be done to make these fit? What is the difference on how the throttle hooks on to these grips vs the Triumph?

I have red "vintage" harley grips on my speedy. Left side slides right on, right however was a quite a pain to slide over the throttle sleeve but its doable. I ended up using soap to get it to slide on. No worries about it ever coming off!

I have these grips. They fit with length perfect. However, the throttle one had to be lathed (is that a verb) to fit inside the housing on my 08 America. They are really comfortable and look classy.
