How can iget the bike to idle the same on both sides when adjusting mixture one side at a time? One side idles alot lower. No air leaks and carbs are clean. Thanks for any help

You need to hook up a vacuum gauge and sync. the carbs then adjust the idle. The mixture screws adjust the mixture not the idle.

Thanks for the reply. I knew the mixture srew would not bring the idle together, it was the differnce in the 2 sides when I was adjusting the mixture with one cylinder diconnected wich I had never done until now. It was after a good carb cleaning. I thought it might need to be balanced. i just did not want to assume with so much experiance on this board. I guess it was probably out of sync for some time. Thanks for the info
