Trouble is I can't figure out how to check the oil...

I haven't had a mountain bike in about 15 years, and this thing is sooo much much better than my previuos bike. She is just an "entry level" bike, but it's hard for me to accept calling it "entry level" after what I paid for it!!! Then again, I'm a cheap skate.

It's a real blast on the trails, but she ain't as quick as my speedy on the road...

Well Nathen, if I'm not mistaken, I think you run a finger or two along that there drive-chain on that nice lookin' new bicycle o' yours, and THAT'S how ya check the oil on it.

(nope, I don't think there's a dipstick on one of those babies anywhere!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

There's something 'Specialized' about that bike, but I just can't figure out what it is...!

I don't know much about the rotors, but I was pretty surprised when I realized that it had hydrolic disk brakes. Of course, it doesn't look as nice as my speedy's twin front discs though...

Had her on a trail tonight and tried to bunny hop over a log- let's just say the bike wasn't to blame for the complete FAIL that turned out to be. Apparently my skills ain't what they used to be...
