I was just talking to a friend about how I don't really like gold and prefer black and chrome or gray on bikes and he pointed out that the lettering on my America's side cover is gold. Love the style of the lettering, but hadn't really dawned on me that it is in fact gold in color. Has anyone ever changed that to silver? I kind of wonder how it would look.

Roadworthy had his sticker redone in chrome. It looks really really good. I would like to do the same.
Here's a pic of his in chrome...

One problem is that you would have to sand down the cover and repaint it since the decal is under a couple coats of clear.

Hey Dave- where'd you get the decal done? Will they do custom designs? Thinking of something like 'America 904' when I get my bore kit dropped in. Do like the silver too.

It's amazing what these sign shops can do these days. I've had a few things done for me in vinyl for my motorcycles. You give them a .jpg and they make it happen. Love that!!!

Thanks Terry, your purple princess decal was my inspiration in my never ending quest for chrome!
