I sold my 2006 America with 26,000 trouble free miles. Sure hated to do it but the arthritis in my spine is making me stiff. I'm not as confidant riding as I used to be. It sucks to get old.

Thanks to all the folks I met and who helped me over the years.

I'm selling some things in classifieds. Fell free to buy them!

Sorry to hear this, Dick.

Don't be a stranger. Sign in now and then in the future and let us know how you're doin'!

(...and hope to hear your back is gettin' better)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

That a hard thing to do. Well, you got 26k out her. Nobody can take those miles/memories away from you.

I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

Well, at least you know when to get off the horse and hang up the spurs. Have you considered transitioning to a three wheeler? I've heard many who have back problems have found them to be quite comfortable.

Whatever life hands you, I wish you well.

At least I really made two people happy: a retired high school principal who just sold his VTX (and loved the America) and my wife.

The cloud and the silver lining... you've transcended the tragedy (because it really is tragic) by putting others before you. That's BIG! Just hope I can be as graceful when it's my turn.
