Well, anybody following my 'Newbee' post will know that I past my test last week and picked up my TBA on the 27th. Here's afew pics... Having a little issue with the 'tail bone' ache after 50-60 miles!. Have the gel seat and will keep on-going to see if I get used to the seat. Looking at getting a clear fly-screen and the light bar when I go in the the first service. Main ride coming up in June.... a little 1500 mile jaunt into France, with Bluenose! Al

Looking good... I thought it odd the tach and speedo faces had different colors.

Lads................. Hmmmm....
But anyway moving on...
A great colour for a bike! I don't have issues with the seat, but do have issues with my back. I used to have a gel seat (It got pinched....along with the bike) and they do take some settling in. Also the gel doesn't like the cold. Give it some time, and wait till it's a bit warmer.
Oh and I think I remember seeing you're in Nottingham, where abouts? I'm orginally from 5 minutes walk from Pidcocks...where my 09 was from.
And congrats on passing your test!

Narrows it down to a 30 miles radius... Actually I can be near Brum in 30 minutes from my parents house. I don't hang around.....

30 mile radius is one thing, but you can bet its east of nottingham as I would'nt live in derby! (I'm a Forest fan!)

Congrats on passing your test. Nice bike!! Love the blue/white combo. You will love your little jaunt into France. I did it last year on my America and it was bloody marvellous. The bike didn't miss a beat and that was loaded up with tent etc etc. I guess you already know... make sure you have a full tank of fuel if your travelling on a sunday and not on the autoroutes. All the perishing petrol stations are closed! Enjoy my trip to France

Very nice, indeed! Like the colour combination. What's the build date on your bike? I have a 2010 Speedmaster and it has the old style speedo. Build date was 09/09.

Really looks great! I'm being told to get a sheepskin and ride with it a while rather than a gel pad.

Nice Bike, I have a sheepskin cover from Alaska Leather, helps a bit. Like the new speedo, seems to be electronic as well as I cant see a speedo cable.

Alex, Very nice looking bike. Don't forget Dart makes a very nice flyscreen for the Speedmaster/America. I'm very happy with mine. I seem to recall alot of people not too impressed by the Triumph flyscreen. Post pics of your little excursion into France, especially of Les Patissieries!!

Had the 1st service today and I had problems with the tacho working properly. The dealership owner already knew the problem I was having. Turns out my bike was one of the first 2010 bikes off the line and had an old 2009 tacho fitted to a 2010 bike. So, matching 2010 tacho now installed (white on black - like the speedo) and all is well. Oh and on my 70 mile return home, I showed a few 'Harley’s' my tailpipes! Mileage done today 167 and that was cut short, as the Mrs wanted me home… (cue finger on forehead comments!) Good Day! Oh, also fitted myself a Dart flyscreen!. Good bit of kit! It just deflects enough air at motorway speeds and take's the edge off the air buffeting you!!;-)

Nice bike. Nice colours.
It may well be the seat, but I would suggest footboards, as they allow you to move your feet around and that helps with comfort quite a bit.
