Just picked up a new Suzuki TU250X, nice retro look and what a hoot to ride.

We bought it for my wife who is a new rider, her baby Bonnie.

Too cool! My wife is considering learning so we have been looking at starter bikes of late... this seems like a good choice.

I do like old style bikes (proper bikes)
Much better looking than these lumps of plastic you get nowadays

Very nice Bravura! I read a recent comparison of the various 250cc's out there, and the TU250X got great reviews from all of the testers.

Thanks for the comments, I rode it about 90 miles down country backroads home from the shop Saturday, it is a great little bike. I felt like I was in one of Peter Egan's tales of riding a vintage bike he so often writes about. It does have that classic look and feel about it but with F.I. and a front disc brake. We took all of the badging off this morning to give it that sense of mystery. The only thing that says Suzuki is the clutch cover on the left side of the engine and the oil filter cover on the right. I do expect the same delay factor I experience with my America but this may be more stories of old Honda CLs and CBs than classic Triumphs.
I recommend this little bike to any new rider wanting to join the sport of motorcycling and hope that Suzuki will consider keeping this bike in its lineup.

Nice thumper there Bradley! Wish my honey would let me buy either one of those or a Royal Enfield Bullet G5 Deluxe.

I started my bride on the GZ250 (almost the same bike). She rode it a year and now has a Bonnie. It's a great little machine.

Beautiful little bike there, Bradley!

Saw one displayed at the Long Beach (CA) Cycle World show back in Dec. '08, and thought it one of the best lookin' machines there that day.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

What's the MSRP on one of those?

I'm looking for a clean used one to buy. I see massive cafe racer possibilities.

Well, it's been a year and she's ready to move up to something bigger. She wanted a Street Triple but couldn't justify the $$$ and picked up a Suzuki Gladius instead.
Sooo, the TU250 has to go, 2k miles, $3200 obo (I know this isn't the classified section, but it isn't a Triumph either).
PM me.

There is one here in my neighborhood! Looks great, too. I catch him buzzing around, coming home for lunch, etc., so I know he works nearby.

Great commuter, I'm sure. Bring on the $4.00+/gallon gas?
