Daylight savings time is here. It's in the 40's during morning time. The bike has been serviced and has new tires. Third day in a row that I was able to ride to work. Life is good. Ain't living in the south great?

It's great in the North too... had the bike on the road since March 4th (the only date incidentally, which is also an ORDER).

Today's my first day taking the bike to work. I left at 6:30 and it was around 0C so a bit cool. It is supposed to be 15C (60F) for the ride home though. I have a co-worker who has been biking for the last week and a half.

Not bad for Ottawa.

Betterer in the Deep South. 365 days of riding with nary a worry about salt, snow, or Mennonite spent fuel piles.

Just pull the bike out today to gas up and run for the first time of the year in preparation to ride it to work tomorrow. Supposed to be in the mid 60s tomorrow afternoon. Had to charge Wendy's battery because it didn't want to start and I ran it down. Once it finally fired it ran fine. Did a quick wipe down of mine but have to do a good wash when it gets nicer out.

I almost hate you lucky guys :-(

It's been three great days of riding weather here in the Denver area, the problem is that my wheels are in Alabama...

Keith, I was rolling East on Birdseye Hollow at the point about where Birdseye Hollow turns into Birdseye Waneta Road. At that intersection, County Rd 96 aka Birdseye Hollow takes a ninety degree turn to the South leaving County Road 114 aka Birdseye Waneta Road, Heading East. The time/date was 1:07pm September 22, 2007.

What? I was in Western Upstate NY rolling North on 54 from the Glenn H Curtiss Museum heading to Watkins Glenn via North Urbana, Tyrone, Pine Creek, and through the Sugar Hill State Forest. Missed last call at biker’s house and decided to day trip through the fingers lakes, seeing if I could cross paths with the rally ride with no maps and no GPS. turns out I missed em in several places by minutes…

If you look at the Bing bird’s eye (no pun intended) view vis-à-vis my photo you’ll see the Barn and the blue bldg with the striped roof. Top of my photo. Barn on the left, striped roof on the right.

Four Hours and 46 minutes of a ride on September 22, 2007.

google says that portion of the ride took 3 hours. So where did the lost hours of that ride go?

I stopped and walked around here. Ate me some lunch in the Glenn and generally stayed out of trouble! ahem
