Went out for my first ride of the year and my engine light came on. Its an 09 America, over tne winter I put a K&n air filter in, and removed the air horn from the air box. Would this do it? If I put everything back will it go out? very frustrating!! Oh, could having your rear turn signals disconnected have anything to do with it?

'No' to every one of your questions. Check the oil before you ride another mile. But it's under warranty so ask your dealer about it.

Btw... why would you run without rear indicators?

oils good. has oil pressure. I'm stumped

Have you washed or gotten the bike very wet recently? This happened to Wendy's bike once after washing it and got water under the sending unit boot. Could also be a bad sending unit. Are you sure the bike has pressure? This is the situation that prompted me to make an oil pressure gauge for our bikes. That way if the light came on again I have a mechanical gauge to verify pressure or no pressure.
