Finally!!! Went for a ride on my motorcycle yesterday and the day before. First ride since September. Last ride day I ended up in bed for 4 months the following day due to severe back problems. Had to miss the NorEast rally and everything due to complete immobilization. Felt good to ride again, even had to gas up, did over 150 miles in last two days. Happy days are here again! 
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

Hey Pat, Glad to hear your're back on the road! Took mine for a ride weds nite, same here first time since sept. I had my left knee replaced labor day weekend! Are you making it to GA rally this year? I will be using a trailer to get there. Too old to make the 10 hours in a saddle. good to hear your mobile again, You can't keep an Old Squid down, right? Glad to hear you're feeling better old timer. May your oxy supply ever exceed your need.
We're getting three days of rain here, and this state is on an all salt road ice melt regime, so with any luck, the salt will be down the drain in short order. Ordered new headstock bearings and two flat wrenches last night. With any luck, I'll be back in the saddle come April. 1/2 hour commute each way on back roads. Yee-hah!

 Hey Pat, Thats good news. I hope that back settles it's self for a summer of ridin. I got out for a 37 mi. scoot on Sunday. Sure is good fer the head ain't it?
