I haven't dealt with them before but as they are a business they are going to be registered for VAT (Sales tax).

Now the good thing from your point of view is that (if you bought from them,)they would be exporting outside of the European Union and should be able to deduct the tax (17.5%) from the quoted price. This should knock your price down to £320.00 plus shipping - so you are effectively getting free shipping

However, you may have to pay customs/ import duty within the US.

Might be worth sending them a message about this.

The original price for these was £500.but in triumphs accessory sale this time last year they were reduced to £250.Some dealers kept these sale items and put them on ebay at higher prices.
check with your local dealer, you should get them at the US$ equivalent of £319.No postage.

Thanks for all te info, I'm going to contact my dealer when tey open on Tuesday and see what they say. Has anyone heard of any changes in the wheels from a Carb. bike to a EFI bike? I'm reading that these will only fit a EFI bike and are vin # specific.

Thanks

Yes, Lings are definately pukka. I bought my bike from them - they have three or four branches, and are highly present in East Anglia. Great customer service, although possibly not the cheapest instore. I will be buying my next bike through them as they have an official launch evening for the R3 Roadster on March 12th and took the time to phone me to tell me about it as I had enquired late last year.
