Folks, Hi--hope everyone is well and keeping warm! Please let me know if you have any interest in a meet-and-greet in Frederick, MD at the Barley & Hops ( http://www.barleyandhops.net/ )located on MD-355, a short distance south of I-70. This would be for a couple of hours when the weather warms up in May. Please check your schedule. It'd be nice to put faces and names together Chime-in if you are interested. Thanks a bunch!
John

If it's a Saturday or Sunday, I could make my way down...working 2nd shift makes Friday a bit rough, unless a 3am meet and greet is in the cards
Maybe we could scout out places for the Mid-Atlantic solstice ride...

I would be interested if it fits in the schedule. I'm a newbie to this site and having a triumph. Road a few, but my first to buy. Been on bikes all my life and been customizing bikes for years. Working on a custom 07 America. Lots of changes and mods. Will be road worthy but never finished. LOL

I'm in as long as I'm not in WA or FL. I'm also new to the forum nut not to Triumph (retired the TT600 for a 2010 Speedy...much better on older bones) Looking forward to meeting you all. Anyone else down Pax River, MD way?

Thanks to all for your responses! Some dates in late May don't work for several folks, so it looks like the prime contenders are: - Saturday, May 23 *** this could be combined with the British & European Classic Motorcycle Day event at Butler's Orchard in Germantown, MD - the URL is http://www.classicmotorcycleday.org/event.html and it's about 20 miles south of Barley & Hops - Saturday, May 15 *** frankly, nothing special about this date, but it doesn't appear to conflict with anything If the majority like the May 23 date, it just means we meet later in the day (4pm or so). May 15 could be earlier. Please let me know your preference and I will call Barley & Hops to give them a head-count--maybe they'll let us take over the patio so it's easier to mingle.
John

The 15th is better for me... but I could make the 23rd work as well.

My vote is for the 15th. The weekend of the 23rd I'm planning on doing an IBA ride (Saddle Sore 2K) with some fellow riders down here in the Hampton Roads area.

Drew, I head up that way every so often to observe various testing going on in the labs. If I have to head that way again I'll see about riding up vice booking a rental car.

As long as it's not pouring rain, either date is good and I'll be there. Put up a post whenever you decide..

Reading the posts, since we can meet earlier in the day on the 15th., that works better for me. So put me down for the 15th....

Folks, With about twenty votes in, looks like most prefer Saturday, May 15. Let's meet at noon at Barley & Hops (5473 Urbana Pike, Frederick, MD) - website is http://www.barleyandhops.net/ - riders will be coming from throughout he mid-Atlantic region If it's a downpour that day or a glacier advances suddenly and unexpectedly, our rain-date can be the following weekend on Sunday, May 23. That coincides with the British & European Classic Motorcycle Day show at Butler's Orchard in Germantown, MD. Website is http://www.classicmotorcycleday.org/ . We can meet at 3pm at Barley & Hops to give folks time at the show. Mark your calendars and see you on May 15!
John

Plus...I'll just take I-78 into Harrisburg, then rte 15 down to Frederick.

Management at Barley & Hops has been notified of our plans and they have not put up a For Sale sign in response, so I guess that's good news! Ride safe and see you on May 15!
