I filed my taxes on line with Taxcut some years ago. As you know, your personal info & SS number are fairly splayed wide open on your tax return.
At the time, I used "taxcut@[my old web site name] .com as my email address. This email address was unique, used once, and used only for the Taxcut filing.

Lo & behold, Taxcut mined my data then sold my personal info, and spam began to appear at my "taxcut@[my old web site name].com account.

File for "free?"
Good idea to read the privacy policy before you click.
